Tis the Season to Decorate

We have certain well worn Christmas traditions, one being when the Christmas tree goes up.We have always put it up after the Santa Claus Parade, that means tis the season to decorate.

Since Walmart is at the end of my street I spent over a good hour over there looking for  decorations. We needed new Christmas lights, a tree skirt and well I wanted something to hang on the door. So I went looking. What did I find?

First I have something to admit I love looking at Christmas decorations. I think it might have something to do with being born on Christmas day.I love this holiday and always have, ask my mom.

Now what caught my eye?

First we have an old Christmas tree that we assemble every year. I love these new trees and guess what lights are on them. Think no long hours of untangling the lights.

We so need a new tree but this will wait till next year.

After taking a peek at the trees I wanted to look through the aisles of ornaments. How about some paper chains? I so remember making ones like these.

Love a colorful tree? When I think of these ones I am reminded of the Grinch.

Now I need a wreath so had to check out these.

Now it is time here to get some Christmas Magic happening. Are you a traditional decorator? Like a color theme?  love a rustic look? I found them all at Walmart.

*I must thank Walmart Canada for the gift card that allowed me to do some extra shopping

So tell me how do you decorate?
