Bob Raoul has been appointed town crier for the Armdale-Penninsula West area. He is a member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Town Crier Guild (who knew?).

He will take on the character of Captain William Spry and appear in costume at events. According to this article, the funding for the town crier is coming from Councillors Mosher and Steve Adams from their district capital funds.
