Tractor trailer drives into home in Kings County

At 1:14 p.m., a tractor trailer collided with a home near the intersection of Hwy. 1 and Cambridge Rd. The driver of the tractor trailer was attempting to avoid a collision with another vehicle when he lost control, left the road, and struck the house. The tractor portion of the truck was entirely inside the home.

No one was in the residence at the time of the collision.

The driver of the truck was injured and was transported via EHs for non life-threatening injuries. Traffic is being diverted from the area as police investigate the cause of the collision.
