Traffic Advisory: Cole Harbour Harvest Festival Parade

Halifax District RCMP would like to remind motorists in Cole Harbour to expect traffic delays between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, due to the Cole Harbour Harvest Festival Parade.

The parade route will begin from the corner of Cumberland Dr. and Colby Dr. and proceed north on Cumberland Dr. onto Forest Hills Parkway to Auburn Dr., which is the end of the parade route. Cole Harbour Rd., at the intersection of Cumberland Dr. and Forest Hills Parkway, will be closed in all directions from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., to allow the parade to pass.

Colby Dr., near the Saint John XXIII Catholic Church, will be closed between 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., to enable parade participants to line up.

Motorists are also reminded to expect traffic delays around Cole Harbour Place on Saturday evening for the Harvest Music Festival and fireworks at dusk taking place outside of Cole Harbour Place, starting at 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
