Traffic Advisory, Victoria County

Heavy rains and rising water levels have caused several road closures in Victoria County.

The following closures are currently in effect:

— Cabot Trail in Middle River down to one lane due to flooding. Crews onsite controlling traffic this evening and tonight
— Yankee Line Road closed due to flooding near junction of Cabot Trail, Hunters Mountain
— Westside Middle River Road closed between Highway 105 and Church Cross road in Middle River due to a culvert washout
— MacDonald Lane, off Westside Middle River Road, closed due to culvert washout
— Cranton Cross Road in Margaree Centre closed due to flooding.

Crews are onsite directing traffic and will assess conditions as water levels drop.

There are also smaller localized issues across the county. Crews are marking hazardous areas and detours where necessary. Watercourses are at peak levels with strong currents. Caution should be taken near all rivers and brooks in the area.

Please adjust travel plans accordingly and drive with care if travel in the area is required.
