Traffic Delays – 25K Moose Run

Friday, March 18, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there may be some traffic delays in the Eastern Passage area on Sunday, March 20, during the annual 25-kilometre Moose Run.   The event will begin at 10 a.m. outside the Buffalo Club on Cow Bay Road. From there the runners will head east, eventually turning on to Bissett Road and heading north until they reach the Cole Harbour Rehabilitation Centre. The runners will loop around the centre and head back on the same route to the Buffalo Club. The event is expected to wrap up by about 12:30 p.m. The participants will be running on the shoulder of the road, facing traffic. RCMP will be on hand to assist with any traffic control issues. Motorists travelling in that area are asked to slow down and keep an eye out for the runners. For more information on this year’s Moose Run, visit http://mooserun.blogspot.ca/.   Source: Release
