Thursday, May 28, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there may be some traffic delays in the Cole Harbour area on Saturday, May 30, as hundreds of people take part in the annual Hillside 2 Haiti five-kilometre run.
The run will begin near the old red barn on Bissett Road at 9 a.m. The runners will continue along Bissett for about two kilometres before connecting to the Salt Marsh Trail and returning on the Panoramic Trail.
The group will be escorted by Cole Harbour RCMP. Motorists travelling through the area are advised to drive carefully and keep an eye out for the runners on the shoulder of the road.
