Traffic Delays – Suicide Prevention Walk

Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there may be some brief traffic delays on Sunday, Sept. 13, as hundreds of participants walk through downtown Halifax to mark World Suicide Prevention Day.

The group will start its walk at 11 a.m. at Victoria Park. From there the walkers will head down Spring Garden Road, turn left onto Barrington Street and continue to Grand Parade. Halifax Regional Police will be on hand to assist with traffic control.

If you’re travelling in that area Sunday, please slow down and keep an eye out for the walkers. Motorists should expect some delays and we regret any inconvenience this may cause.
