Traffic Delays – Waverley Gold Rush Days Parade

Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents there will be brief street closures and some traffic delays in the Waverley area on Saturday, Sept. 12, during the Waverley Gold Rush Days parade.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. in front of the Nova Scotia Firefighters School on Power Mill Road. The parade will head to the intersection of Highway 2 and Waverley Road, turn left and travel northwest until it reaches the Waverley Fire Station.

RCMP will be on hand to assist with traffic control during the event. Motorists should expect some delays and are advised to find alternative routes, if possible.
