Three males are in custody after a brief car chase yesterday in the Burnside area.

A traffic stop was initiated by officers at 715 pm  last night near the intersection of Wright Ave and Fielding Ave. Dartmouth. A short pursuit entailed resulting in the vehicle flipping on it's side not far from this area. Three adult males were apprehended a short distance away with the help of the police (K9) unit.  A loaded  handgun was found in the vehicle and a quantity of drugs obtained from one of the occupants. Weapons, flee police and drug charges were laid against the three adult males who are being held for court. No injuries occurred as a result of the accident.
