Traffic Stop Results in Drug Charges

Four men face drug charges after a traffic stop last night in Halifax.

Acting on information, officers assigned to the Central Quick Response Unit conducted a traffic stop at 10:12 p.m. in the 6100 block of Young Street. Officers arrested the four men who were in the vehicle and a subsequent search resulted in a quantity of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia being seized.

Three Dartmouth men and one East Preston man, ranging in age between 18 and 21, are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face drug trafficking charges.
