At approximately 12:10 a.m. Halifax Regional Police report responding to 7100 block of Chebucto Rd for a report from Metro Transit bus driver of a shot fired at a bus.   

The driver reported being cut off by a vehicle near the rotary.  When the bus was passing  by a business on Chebucto Rd, the driver saw the vehicle pulled over and heard what he thought was a shot from a firearm towards his bus.   The area was checked with negative results.  The Investigation is ongoing.   Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Police at 902-490-5016 or contact Crimestoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.

 

Suspect vehicle was a single cab, Red or burg truck with yellow Fisher plow, (u/k make)  with a salt spreader on back and yellow light on roof.   Suspect driver, white male, 30-40 yrs, yellow vest, dark pants & jacket.
