On August 29, 2020 at approximately 6:30 p.m., New Glasgow Regional Police attended a Diamond Street residence in Trenton for a possible weapons call.

Upon investigation, police determined that no weapons were involved or located at the residence.

Later that evening at approximately 9:30 p.m. the lone male was safely apprehended without incident.

No injuries to either suspect or officers.

Police immediately determined that there was no immediate threat to the public.

The lone male was apprehended under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act. No charges are pending, at this time.
