the New build ship Tropical Hope tied up at pier 37 this morning for her first call to Halifax on her maiden voyage. the ship was just delivered form the builders in China, and will be plying Tropical Shipping’s route from Halifax to the Caribbean, with the Bomar Rebecca.

Tropical shipping began calling a year ago, in January 2018, after moving from Saint John NB. Tropical handles several hundred TEU per week. Tropical hope will be replacing the Asian Sun.
