Truck driver stabbed in mall parking lot

Police are currently investigating an assault in Dartmouth which is believed to have occurred sometime overnight.

At 11:09 a.m. officers responded to the parking lot of Penhorn Mall after an injured man was discovered in the cab of a transport truck. Investigators believe the 40-year-old man arrived in the truck at the parking lot at approximately 11:30 p.m. last night and was assaulted sometime overnight. The man suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to hospital. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating the incident but have yet to speak with the victim.
