Truck stolen, another nearby vehicle broken into

Halifax District RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a vehicle stolen from a property on Tanner Frederick Rd. in Glen Haven.

On June 4, at approximately 7 a.m., Halifax District RCMP received a report of a theft of a vehicle from a property on Tanner Frederick Rd. in Glen Haven. RCMP officers learned that a 2004 diesel Dodge Ram, silver in colour, was taken sometime during the night.

The truck, bearing Nova Scotia license plate GMF378, has a distinctive red tailgate and contained a ladder, hand tools and an air compressor. At the time of the theft, the suspect(s) also gained entry into a second vehicle where a wallet was taken. The investigation is ongoing. Prevent thefts, by keeping your vehicles locked and removing any valuables.
