The upcoming play at the Pond Playhouse is Twelve Angry Men. The play was written by Reginald Rose, and directed by Angela Bulter.
Closeted in a muggy room on a hot summer afternoon, a jury must decide the guilt or innocence of a young man, accused of murder. When one juror is not convinced of the boy’s guilt, we begin to see that the case may not be as open and shut as it first appeared. Twelve Angry Men will keep you on the edge of your seat as each of the jurors’ prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other are revealed.
Twelve Angry Men will runs at the Pond Playhouse in Halifax from June 17 until July 3, 2010. Shows are at 8:00 p.m. with some matinees.
