Twelve-year-old injured in pedestrian collision

On March 26 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Pictou District RCMP responded to a pedestrian-motor vehicle collision on Stellarton Trafalgar Rd.

A 12-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle while he was crossing the road near a school.

The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The involved vehicle stopped at the scene.

Neither the driver or the passenger was injured.

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing.
