Two drivers charged after road chase

December 6, 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . Police charge two drivers after a house was allegedly egged on Beechwood Terrace in Halifax.
 
Last evening, 9:55 p.m.,  RCMP were dispatched to a driving complaint outbound on Highway 102.  Witnesses reported two vehicles driving erratically and travelling at a high rate of speed.
 
Callers also reported that one of the vehicles almost struck another car. Police stopped the two vehicles near Exit 3 on Highway 101.
 
Earlier, the owner of a house on Beechwood Terrace believed that his house was egged by three people in a car.  He gave chase in his own vehicle until both vehicles were stopped by police.  Both drivers were charged under Section 100 (2) of the Motor Vehicle Act for  Failing to Drive or Operate a Motor Vehicle in Careful and Prudent Manner.   The investigation into the mischief is still under investigation.
