HRPD charged three individuals in two separate drug-related incidents last night.

At 9:50 pm East QRU members observed a drug transaction occur on Jackson Rd in Dartmouth between a female party and males inside a vehicle. Members completed a traffic stop on the vehicle and arrested 3 occupants.
As a result of the investigation a 18 yr old male from Dartmouth was held for court and charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) CDSA 5.2 and Possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) CDSA 4.1.
At 9:00 pm Gottingen St. Beat members observed a drug transaction occur in the area of North St. and Fuller Terr. between 2 males.
Both males were arrested and later released with the following charges: A 49 yr old Halifax male was charged with Possession of a controlled substance and Breach of probation. A 52 yr old Halifax male was charged with Trafficking and obstructing a Police Officer.
