Two hurt in transit bus collision

Release:

Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a Halifax Transit Bus in Halifax this morning.

At approximately 9:40 a.m. police responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a Halifax Transit bus and a transport truck. The vehicles were traveling in the same lane, in the 1600 block of Barrington Street, when the bus collided with the rear of the truck.  At this time there are no charges anticipated with the collision.

Two passengers on the bus were taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
