From RCMP:
Members of the Halifax District Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) made a seizure of cocaine, ecstasy and cash last night.
Plain clothes officers observed what appeared to be a drug transaction and were able to arrest one of the parties on-scene after a short foot chase. The other fled in his vehicle, which was later searched along with his residence after officers obtained a warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
A 20-year old male will face a charge of Possession of Cocaine and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on September 15, 2010. An 18-year old male will be charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Ecstasy, as well as Flight From Peace Officer and will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on September 8, 2010.
