At 12:40 am, the 2000 block of Gottingen St , Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery. Two men were walking on Gottingen St, when they were approached by a black man, who demanded the man give him all his money . The man gave the suspect . an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then crossed the street and left the area in a taxi. No weapons were seen and no one was injured. The suspect is described as a black male, 6’3, heavy set and having a very large beard.
