Two people from Warrant Wanted List arrested

Two people with outstanding warrants have been located within days of their information being included as part of a list of people with outstanding warrants.

On September 22, HRM Partners in Policing released a new High-Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) Outstanding Warrant List to the public. The list contained ten people who have warrants for their arrest and are believed to reside in HRM.

As a result of the list being released, investigators with the HEAT unit received information that 46-year-old Bruce Edward Misner was in Claresholm, Alberta. They contacted the RCMP in Claresholm and Misner was arrested yesterday. At this time, arrangements are being made to return Misner to our jurisdiction.

Earlier this morning, 23-year-old Tyler Phillip DeWolfe turned himself in at the Dartmouth Provincial Court. He is scheduled to appear in court sometime today.

The Outstanding Warrant Wanted List is available on the Internet at www.halifax.ca/police/HeatList. HRM Partners in Policing remind citizens not to approach these individuals or try to take matters into their own hands.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016, RCMP at 244-7208 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
