Two sent to hospital with knife wounds in SMU fight

Two males were sent to hospital after an altercation at SMU.

From HRPD:
At approximately 10:00 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons call at St Mary’s University. According to security at the university, there were a group of 7 people walking through a hallway in the Loyola building when they became involved in an argument amongst themselves. The argument turned in to a physical altercation and one of the people pulled out a knife. During the ensuing struggle 2 males, one 19 year old and one 21 year old, ended up with non life threatening injuries from the knife. These males were treated in hospital and released. The suspect with the knife has not yet been arrested. All parties are known to each other.
