Halifax Regional Police is investigating two vehicle fires that occurred in Bedford and Dartmouth over the last week.
On Saturday October 30 at 6:19 a.m., officers responded to assist Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency with a vehicle fire behind Bedford South School in a parking lot. The vehicle is a Ford Explorer that was later determined to have been stolen from a residence on Vanier Way in Bedford on October 27, sometime overnight.
On Monday October 31 at 10:36 p.m., police responded to property damage call on Donald Court in Dartmouth. Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency were already on scene with a motorcycle was on fire which has spread to a small portion of a nearby fence, but was quickly extinguished. There was also a vehicle in the driveway that had damage to its front and rear windshields. The homeowner was home at the time of the incident but did not witness any suspects.
These files are under investigation and police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call 902-490-5016.
