Unlicensed alcohol sales at party in Halifax results in fines

At 9:55 P.M. 18 JANUARY 2019 HALIFAX REGIONAL POLICE LIQUOR ENFORCEMENT UNIT EXECUTED A SUMMARY PROCEEDING SEARCH WARRANT IN THE 1700 BLOCK OF ROBIE STREET HALIFAX.

THERE WERE APROXIMATELY 70 PEOPLE AT THE PARTY WHERE LIQUOR WAS BEING SOLD WITHOUT A LICENSE, CONTRARY TO THE LIQUOR CONTROL ACT.

SEVEN ADULT MALES AND ONE ADULT FEMALE WERE ISSUED A TOTAL OF SIXTEEN SUMMARY OFFENCE TICKETS UNDER THE LIQUOR CONTROL ACT WITH A HALIFAX COURT DATE.
