Bedford Players auditions for their spring production of Marplot, a comedy directed by Karen Waterfield, will take place at All Saints Anglican Church Hall, 1408 Bedford Highway, on January 30 and 31 at 7 p.m.

Marplot is the subtitle and a pivotal character in a play also known as The Busy Body by Susannah Centlivre. Given his actions, a “marplot” is now defined as an officious meddler whose interference compromises the success of an undertaking. What did he do? Join us to read the play on Thursday, January 20 at 7 p.m.

Marplot will run from April 28 to May 14 (Thursdays to Saturdays at 8 p.m.) with a matinee on Sunday, May 8 at 2 p.m.
