Update: Additional arrest made in 11-month drug investigation

  April 10, 2013, Halifax, Nova Scotia . . . RCMP have made an additional arrest in the 11-month drug investigation that culminated in mid-December 2012 with the arrest of 29 people involved in the cultivation and trafficking of illegal drugs in Nova Scotia.

 

April 10, 2013, Halifax, Nova Scotia . . . RCMP have made an additional arrest in the 11-month drug investigation that culminated in mid-December 2012 with the arrest of 29 people involved in the cultivation and trafficking of illegal drugs in Nova Scotia.
 
On April 10th, 2013 at approximately 7:30 a.m. RCMP arrested Dinesh Sinha, 68, from Halifax without incident. He has been charged with Forgery, Uttering a Forged Document and Fraud and was released from custody. He will appear in court in Halifax in June (date)
 
Throughout the course of the investigation, police seized 45.5 pounds of dried marihuana, 2,207 marihuana plants, approximately $250-thousand dollars worth of marihuana production equipment, and a substantial amount of cash. Police also seized five vehicles and four long guns. The investigation is continuing.
