Annapolis District RCMP are releasing the name of the boater who died on Saturday evening in a fatal boating accident in Parkers Cove, Bay of Fundy.

On August 31st, shortly after 8 p.m.

, Annapolis County RCMP responded to a report of a missing boater at Parkers Cove. The Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) was activated and a Coast Guard vessel was dispatched from St. John, New Brunswick.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., RCMP recovered the body of Allan Clayton, 58, from Parkers Cove, Annapolis County. Mr Clayton’s body was recovered from the water near his boat. The investigation is continuing.
