Halifax District RCMP wish to advise residents that the evacuation order on Old Dyke Rd remains in effect.
Officers from specialized teams will remain at the scene into the evening as they continue with their work at the cottage.
Local residents will continue to see a large police presence in the area. We wish to thank residents for their patience and understanding.
The next update on the status of the evacuation order will be on Thursday, January 22nd at 2 p.m.
