Update: JL Ilsley fundraising dinner for Chebucto Family Centre raises over $1000

Here’s an update to a story from a few weeks back. The JL Ilsley O2 class held a three-course fundraising dinner for the Chebucto Family Centre, with assistance from the chefs at the Prince George Hotel. Tickets were sold for $10 each, and in addition the students made some free tickets available to clients of the family centre. I asked Tom McCutcheon, the O2 teacher for a brief update. He writes:
“We had a great time and raised $1090 for the Chebucto Family Centre. The students worked hard, the Prince George came through again, and 50 people from the centre had a free and delicious dinner.”
