Update: Kings District RCMP lay charges in break and enter with violence, North Kentville, N.S.

Kings District RCMP and GIS have charged one man and a youth following an investigation into a break and enter with violence. On February 17th, 2015, Kings District RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter into a residence with violence.

On February 17th, 2015, Kings District RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter into a residence with violence.

Investigation determined that three males forcibly entered the residence of a 23-year-old North Kentville female. Josh Jackson of North Kentville has been charged with Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Restricted Weapon. A 15-year-old male youth of North Kentville has been charged with six Criminal Code offences which include Robbery, Break and Enter and Commit, Wearing a Mask to Commit an Offence, Assault with a Weapon, Theft, and Mischief.

Both accused appeared in Provincial Court Windsor earlier today. The youth was released to a parent and will appear March 5th, 2015 at Kentville Provincial Court. Jackson has been remanded and will appear on Monday, Feb 23rd, 2015 at Provincial Court Kentville. The investigation is continuing.
