Kings County RCMP and GSAR teams located the lost hunter earlier this morning.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., the 60-year-old man from Port Williams was located by GSAR searchers from several teams.

The searchers had dry clothes that he changed into when they got to him. Although cold and wet, the man walked out of the woods on his own and was in good spirits. He was transported to hospital by EHS as a precaution. His dog was in good shape too as the searchers said he was trying to track rabbits on the way out.

RCMP want to thank the 60 searchers and volunteers who worked hard to locate this man in challenging weather conditions.
