Lunenburg County RCMP have charged a 60-year-old man in relation to a shooting incident yesterday.
Shortly before 9:00 a.m. yesterday, RCMP responded to a report of a deceased man on Little Tancook Island.
RCMP attended the island and determined that a 47-year-old man had been shot. At approximately 10:15 a.m., RCMP arrested a local resident without incident.
Terry Roy Levy of Little Tancook Island has been charged with First Degree Murder and will appear at the Bridgewater Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. this morning. The investigation is continuing.
