RCMP would like to advise that Ms. Mariette Forest has been located.

At 10:20 a.m., RCMP received a call that she was at a camp north of area where she went missing along the Baddeck River.

Ms. Forest was found safe and in good spirits. Despite missing her shoes and some soreness, she is in relatively good health and will be examined by EHS.

RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance as well as the support from the Department of Natural Resources and the many volunteers from various Ground Search and Rescue teams. Police agencies work closely with these volunteers and through their hard work and dedication searches such as this result in successful outcomes for the families involved.
