Halifax District RCMP wish to advise citizens that the evacuation order on Old Dyke Rd. remains in effect. A further update will be provided at 3 p.m.

today on the status of the evacuation.

In addition, C/Supt Roland Wells, Officer in Charge of Halifax District RCMP, will be available to speak with media at 1 p.m. at the Cole Harbour RCMP Detachment, 1171 Cole Harbour Rd. C/Supt Wells will be speaking about the activities over the last few days related to the ongoing investigation on Old Dyke Rd.
