RCMP are releasing the name of the snowmobiler who died in a crash last evening.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. Oxford RCMP assisted by Westchester Fire and Emergency Health Services responded to a snowmobile crash on a groomed trail off Westchester Road.

Wayne Jennings, 42, of Halifax died of his injuries when he lost control of the snowmobile he was driving and it rolled over.

Please note the age of the victim is 42 not 41 as originally released.
