Pictou County District RCMP are reporting that the missing hikers have been located.

At approximately 1 p.m. this afternoon, Pictou County Ground Search and Rescue located the three men reported missing earlier today.

The hikers were located approximately 4 km southwest from where they were camping with their families over the long weekend. The hikers are reported to be tired, wet and hungry, but otherwise in good health.

The RCMP would like to thank the Pictou County Ground Search and Rescue Team (20 to 25 searchers) who volunteered their time to locate these men.
