The HRP/RCMP General Investigations Section (GIS) has charged two people in relation to a robbery in Fall River.
On January 1st, 8:45 p.m., a robbery occurred at the PetroCan on Highway #2.
A male suspect entered the convenience store and approached the counter and assaulted the employee by stabbing. He was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injury. The suspect then fled from the store and left in a white car last seen heading onto Highway 118 towards Dartmouth.
A female, 25-year-old,Maquell Weatherbee and a 21-year-old male, Robert Paul will be facing Criminal Code charges in this matter including Attempted Murder, Assault with a Weapon, Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Robbery. They will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial court later today.
The matter remains under investigation.
