UPDATE: Police Investigation into Robbery leads to Drug Search – Halifax

At 9:39 p.m., 9 April, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Robbery at the Scotia Green Dispensary, 5982 Spring Garden Road Halifax, by two males with a firearm. The suspects fled on foot and were not located. No one was injured during the robbery.

As a result of the ongoing investigation members of the Integrated General Investigation Section and Guns & Gangs Unit at 5:25 p.m. 10 April, executed a Controlled Drugs & Substance Act Search Warrant at the Scotia Green Dispensary, 5982 Spring Garden Road Halifax.

Police have arrested a 33 year-old male, who is an employee of Scotia Green Dispensary, and will be facing charges of Trafficking Controlled Substances.

The investigation into the Robbery of the Scotia Green Dispensary is still ongoing at this time. The Integrated General Investigation Section are asking anyone with information about this incident to call police at 902-490-5020. (Original release) Robbery

At 9:39 p.m. police responded to a report of a robbery at the Scotia Green Dispensary located at 5982 Spring Garden Road.

Initial information was that two males, with their faces covered, entered the store with at least one suspect armed with guns. The suspect fled on foot after stealing product and cash from the business and property and cash from a number of patrons that were inside the business.

A search of the area by K9, ERT and patrol was conducted but the suspects were not located. Members of the Integrated General Investigation Section are investigating and have determined that the incident occurred approximately 30 minutes prior to the call to police.
