Update: Police lay additional charges after seizure of property and drugs, Blockhouse, N.S.

Members of the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SSISCEU) have laid additional charges in relation to an ongoing investigation related to recovered stolen property and drugs seized.

On January 28, 2016, members executed a search warrant at a residence on Highway 325 near Mahone Bay. As a result police recovered over $20,000 worth of stolen property from a number of recent thefts including two utility trailers, several empty beer kegs, concrete forms and lumber. In addition, police discovered and dismantled a marihuana grow operation and seized 25 marihuana plants.

Arthur Abdul Mosher, 32 of Blockhouse has been charged with the following offences:

• Production of Cannabis

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance

• Possession of a Controlled Substance x 2

• Possession of Stolen Property x 4

• Breach of Conditions

• Possession of Ammunition while Prohibited

Mosher has been released from police custody and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on May 4, 2016. The investigation is ongoing.
