Update: Police lay charges in Cole Harbour armed robbery, Cole Harbour, N.S.

Police lay robbery and weapons related charges against two men from Cole Harbour.

On Wednesday, November 26th at approximately 12:30 p.m., Halifax District RCMP members responded to a complaint of a robbery with a weapon in the area of Shrewsbury Road in Cole Harbour.

Investigators in the General Investigation Section with the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged Kyle Joseph Boudreau, 18, and a 17-year-old youth with Robbery and numerous weapons related offences resulting from this incident. Mr. Boudreau is appearing this afternoon in Provincial Court Dartmouth while the youth will be appearing this afternoon in Youth Court, Halifax.

Also, during the course of this investigation, investigators seized a sawed-off .22 caliber rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and two replica 9mm handguns during the execution of a search warrant from a home in Cole Harbour.

The investigation is continuing.
