Road Construction – Broad Street
Location: Broad Street, between Gary Martin Drive and Larry Uteck Blvd. Note: In order to accommodate work, Larry Uteck Boulevard between Bluewater Road and Brookline Drive will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Date: Thursday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 24
Time: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Work details: This work will include street work and excavation.
Traffic Impact: Stop-and-go traffic, as well as lane drops, will be in place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during this work. The sidewalk will also be closed during this work. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
Construction during COVID-19: Construction crews will strive to maintain physical distancing measures, however, residents may see workers within two metres of each other while completing certain tasks which aligns with the exemptions outlined in the Provincial Health Order. If approaching construction crews, residents are asked to maintain at least two metres of physical distancing.
