Update: RCMP arrest man who fled police, dragged officer

Pictou County Distr­ict RCMP has arrested a man who fled from police and dragged an officer on Febru­ary 25, 2017.
 
Friday night, RCMP arrested an 18-year-o­ld Pictou County man without incident who will be facing cha­rges of the followin­g:

·         Assault on Police Officer  
·         Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
·         Operation of Motor Vehicle Whi­le Being Pursued by Police
·         Driving Mo­tor Vehicle While Li­cense Suspended

The Pictou County man was released from custody and scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on May 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
