Kings County RCMP advises that the 64-year-old woman who was reported missing on Thursday has been found deceased.
At approximately 9:35 a.m. this morning, the missing woman’s body was found in the Annapolis River by two members of Valley Ground Search and Rescue who were searching the area in a canoe.
RCMP was contacted, and the body was taken to shore.
The Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting the RCMP with this investigation, and an autopsy will follow. The RCMP does not suspect foul play.
