RCMP advises that Highway 236 in Old Barns has re-opened to traffic following a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision earlier today.

A 36-year-old female from Maitland was transported to Colchester Regional Hospital after she was extricated from the car she had been driving. A 19-year-old male driver from Princeport was also transported to Colchester Regional Hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
