Pictou County District RCMP are releasing the name of the driver who died on Tuesday afternoon on Highway 104 in Broadway.
At approximately 5:05 p.m., Pictou County District RCMP, Emergency Health Services and the Barney’s River, New Glasgow, Merigomish and Thorburn Fire Departments responded to the collision at distance marker 193.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford car traveling westbound with three female occupants collided with a Chev pick-up truck traveling eastbound with two male occupants.

Breanna Michelle Lundrigan, 17, of Mulgrave, who was driving the Ford car, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into this collision is continuing.
