The 50-year-old male driver injured in the crash in Seaforth is in critical condition.
Initial reports from the scene suggested the man had succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
While attended to by EHS paramedics, they observed vital signs. The man was taken to the Dartmouth General Hospital. He has since been transferred to the QEII in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. The male passenger was treated at hospital and released.
Information issued in a release from earlier today was incorrect. The male was not deceased and was transported to hospital by paramedics. The RCMP apologizes for any confusion.
