Update: Shelburne County RCMP locate missing man’s vehicle, East Green Harbour, N.S.

Shelburne County RCMP have located the red 4-door 2010 Hyundai Elantra belonging to Charles Cecil Slate who went missing on Tuesday September 9th. Earlier this afternoon. RCMP received a call indicating that Slate's vehicle had been located near the Lake John Road, approximately 3 kms from Highway 103 at the Lockeport exit.

Shelburne County RCMP have located the red 4-door 2010 Hyundai Elantra belonging to Charles Cecil Slate who went missing on Tuesday September 9th.

Earlier this afternoon. RCMP received a call indicating that Slate’s vehicle had been located near the Lake John Road, approximately 3 kms from Highway 103 at the Lockeport exit.

Currently, the search is ongoing to find the missing person.
A Police Dog is on scene along with the Barrington Ground Search and Rescue. The search will continue for another couple of hours and will resume in the morning at 8 a.m. if necessary.

Anyone who may have information about Charles Cecil Slate’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Shelburne County RCMP Detachment at (902) 875-2490. The investigation is continuing.
